Local Heroes: The Commercial

After attending my first travel industry meet up and a late night that ended up with us returning at five thirty in the morning,  a bit of good, old-fashioned pub grub was in order the day after.

But this wasn't just any old pub grub.

This was just what the doctor ordered and more.

We wanted to go all out and The Commercial offers some great bar snacks which we decided to make as starters. We went with baked brie with caramelised onion chutney and pulled pork sliders. The brie was gorgeous and the pulled pork's sauce was great. My only complaint is that there was too much greenery and healthy stuff (ha) on the sliders.

The menu offered some great options with a few different dishes on offer. But we decided to opt for the classics and continue the healthy theme by going for pork and chorizo burger and bangers and mash with the best onion rings ever.

We left satisfied to say the least.
