A-List Celebrities Team Up With The Super Yacht

The community helps to protect the oceans of the world.

Superboats, sports cars, royalty and celebrities that will be on the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show will always get a fair amount of attention simply because superyachts, sports cars, and celebrities are sexy. And the Monaco Yacht Show is one of the only places that make it relatively easy to see how it is within a 360-foot private yacht.

Obviously, it’s no secret to owning a superyacht comes with a hem privilege. But now the 700-mile-long London to Monaco bike ride is on its way to start off for the third consecutive year to raise funds for the BLUE Marine Foundation, the secret is that many members of the superyacht community care about preserving the world’s oceans too. And they use real money to do something about it.

Founding sponsor (an aviation, architectural and yacht firm with strong links to Montenegro) has helped BLUE increase almost $ 750,000 to maintain some of the world’s most important ocean ecosystems. Sunseeker, the productive English shipyard known for building fast and luxurious yachts up to 155 meters long, also has a long-term financial sponsorship agreement, so BLUE can continue to help the oceans.

And now that Queen Elizabeth’s grandson Zara Tindall and her husband Mike will be present when the nearly 100-rider-strong cyclists on starts in London on September 19th the attention this tour is gaining and the good that they have raised funds will achieve will shoot up even more.

Zara and Mike Tindall are just some of the many senior Blue Marine Foundation supporters, who include Duran Duran’s foremost Simon Le Bon. But they will all agree that there is no more high profile supporter in Monaco than Hans Serene Highness Prince Albert II from Monaco himself.

Like Monaco’s ruling monarch with assets valued at well over 1 billion dollars, Prince Albert could easily be obsessed with other things. But his promise to preserve the oceans (and help organizations like the Blue Marine Foundation makes a difference in our ocean’s health) runs deep. His foundation is a founder of the trip and is even more excited about this year’s event.
